I stumbled across this blog recently and have checked back every once in a while, never posted…so the odd question—how the hell do you say your last name…it bothers me when I can’t pronounce a website (and therefore can’t say it out loud). Again, apologies if this seems wierd.

Good question Alec. I’ll see what I can do to help you out.
Think of ‘Ryck’ as Bike, but replace the B with an R.
Think of ‘bost’ as being spelled ‘boast’.
What you get is something that sounds like Rikeboast (but spelled Ryckbost).
And if I were to go to the Dutch spelling that I think it was in the past, it may look like Rijkbost.
